The hone.pd team is proud to have worked with Nexans Olex and come up with a commercial product design that not just solves the practical problems of transporting and cable handling on construction sites, but also serves as a great Marketing tool for Nexans via having their brand visible, like a mini billboard, onsite in front of their target audience.

The product solution is a trolley system which is a simple, robust & functional mechanical design that can carry 150kg of Cable spools on site. It is constructed to carry a maximum load of 6 spools and built to fit all Nexans 100m and 200m plastic spools. This product idea was created by Nexans after watching Electricians manually loading and unloading spools in their vehicles from the wholesaler, then similarly manually carrying them to and around building sites. Hence the custom trolley simplifies all of these steps, and allows the spools to be used right from the trolley.
