1. Feasibility analysis
Our feasibility analysis helps you determine the cost of designing and manufacturing to maximise your return on investment (ROI) before you begin your design process. Our feasibility services include:
Market analysis is used to evaluate the market and identify opportunities to differentiate.
Product marketability to create unique product design solutions using materials, features, and manufacturing processes that add marketable product value.
Cost-focused design requires us to analyse product solutions to reduce manufacturing setup and unit costs while maintaining product value.

hone.pd helped St. Johns successfully determine its project profitably and establish a pricing model based on design and supply.
2. Design only services
Whether you are designing a product for a customer, innovating a current product, or working on a business-to-business solution, we ideate, design, and create 2-D or 3-D designs for manufacturing under this model.
We helped Farmo's Water Rat design a highly sophisticated but easy-to-set-up tank and trough water sensor.
Water Rat improves efficiency and certainty for farmers by giving them direct knowledge on their smartphones regarding the water levels of their stock watering troughs or water tanks, saving time spent periodically or manually checking troughs.
Working with Riverina Allweld, hone.pd designed custom ute tray bodies for commercial vehicles.
Our steel fabrication modelling and designs improved workflow efficiency on the shop floor while allowing for simple modifications to the tray body designs as required. Using 3-D CAD design models containing all components, including sheet metal, weldments, fixings, and shelf items such as locks, we ensured our designs fit together and worked as an overall unit prior to fabrication.
3. Design and manufacturing support
For this plan, we offer design services and manufacturing consultation. You work with your own manufacturer, but we provide advice and support during the manufacturing process.
Stay Tray is an alternative to the cardboard multi-cup tray.
Our design accommodates about 95% of disposable and reusable cups and bottles, making it genuinely cross-functional. With a focus on ethical and sustainable production and work practices, we sourced local suppliers for both the recycled material used to make the tray and the tooling and production.
Designed for timeless appeal and endless functionality, LOBO manufactures shoes with three different heel heights.
You can instantly switch from a high heel to a low heel. hone.pd helped LOBO with ideation, concept design, prototyping, manufacturing specification, support, and consulting.
4. Supply agent
This plan provides design services and our specialised supply service to find and work with a supplier. We take a percentage of the manufacturing costs and complete the stages of work required to find the right supplier and ensure your products are delivered.
Baby Bum Shower is a transportable nappy change bottle to reduce waste.
Designed for mums and dads on the go, the hand-held squeeze bottle makes nappy changing cleaner, easier and significantly reduces the need for disposable wet wipes. hone.pd designed, manufactured and launched this award-winning product.
See Me Be is a plush doll brand that shows girls, “If you can see it, you can be it.”
hone.pd played a pivotal role in transforming the concept of these dolls into their initial artistic renditions and into the plush toys they are today with design and manufacturing support.
5. Design and supply
Under this plan, we provide support across every stage of the process for clients who require large-scale design and supply. This service is for established businesses, corporations, educational institutions and government entities. We manage everything.
We supplied over one million units of custom-designed PPE to Woolworths, Australia’s largest grocer, with a six-week turnaround mid-pandemic.
We helped the World Mosquito Program (WMP) design and supply the machine and equipment required for scaling up and rolling out its operations.
This work included refining product designs for improved functionality and product engineering to improve cost manufacturing efficiency at increased volume. We also set up cost-effective onshore and offshore manufacturing and managed the logistics for safe arrival at the WMP offshore destinations.
