A Circular Economy

Next year Tokyo will host the 2020 Olympic games with the games to be different to any seen before, already being described as the “robot games”. Japan’s unique culture will be brought to the forefront especially in regards to technology and waste. A recent example of this was seen during the football world cup last year where Japanese fans gained international acclaim for completely cleaning the stadium of litter after the game.

Here at Hone Product Design we spend a lot of time with our clients working on new product development. One consideration when launching a new product, is the packaging design. As with the product design itself, the packaging needs to be well considered. This includes not only the look and feel of the packaging, which has so much influence on the customer experience, but also the life of the package once it has done its job.
